Monica’s angelic beauty and bewitchery unravelled...

Indians were supposed to get up, Monica Bellucciclose and personal with Bellucci as the maker of Provoked, Jagmohan Mundhra, zeroed in on Monica to play our nation’s current Queen of Politics, Sonia Gandhi, for his film titled Sonia. With both the real-life heroine and the one intended for the celluloid version, coming from Italy, with Italian accents and even bearing a faint resemblance to each other, it would’ve definitely been worth a dekko. Sadly, the supporters of the prima donna of Indian politics were too sceptical of the idea, finally leading to Mundhra scrapping the project altogether! But take heart, for we’ll soon get to see Monica in two new movies that recently premiered at the Rome Film Festival, N (Napoleon and Me) and The Stone Council. By god, with Monica Bellucci’s fans growing all over the world, we bet we’ll get to see much more of this goddess!...more
